Our hunting district allows a limited
number of handicapped hunters to hunt during our January/February late
elk season. Permits are by limited draw only.

Since we hunt primarily on private land, we are able to provide you
with a quality hunting experience. Depending upon your handicap, we
will either use spot-and-stock methods, or "stand" hunting.
You will not be competing with other hunters for your trophy as we are
hunting primarily on private land.

Hunter numbers this time of year are very limited due to the nature
of the hunt. Handicapped hunters are allowed to hunt Tuesday through
Thursday of every week for the duration of the 6-week hunt.

Snow amounts in the Gardiner area greatly influence our handicapped
hunts. When we get large amounts of snow, we are often able to transport
handicapped hunters via snowmobile to their hunting area. When we don't
have snow we use either 4WD vehicles or horses, depending on your ability.
